At their last meeting, the Mercer School Board reorganized, with Makella Hagan and Ervin Taff were both sworn into three-year terms. Teri Noe was elected as President. Heath West will be Vice President. Kailer Stevenson will be Secretary/Treasurer. The board heard a report on summer projects that will include relocating sinks and capping gas lines in the Science room, as well as working on the softball field. The board also decided to look for additional bids for repair of the school boiler. The purchase of school books was also discussed. The board accepted the resignations of several staff and offered contracts to a library/special ed teacher and an english teacher.
