St. Germain Makes Decision Regarding Town Facility

The town board of St. Germain at its last meeting voted to use leftover ARPA funds from the pandemic to replace one of the pavilions in town. TheLakelandTimes reports the board reported a surplus of $138,000 in the fall of last year. Discussion on what to spend the money on has been on the board’s agenda. . The motion to replace the pavilion passed with a three to one vote, with only supervisor Kalisa Mortag voting no and newly former supervisor Ted Ritter abstaining from voting. The next step is putting the project out for bids. The board plans on holding a special electors meeting at a future date to make a final decision on the project.
