Repairs Begin…Again…On Sixth Street West in Ashland

ASHLAND – Ashland drivers can expect some delays as work on the rebuild of Sixth Street West gets underway. Ashland city leadership settled a lawsuit against the companies that didn’t get the job right the first time, with residents complaining that driving on it was no better than before the repairs. Those repairs will be done in sections, starting with Ellis Avenue to Chapple, and then onward to Sanborn Avenue and forward. Sections of the road will be closed and traffic will be down to one lane at time, keep an eye out for flaggers as your make your way through that part of town.
