Clerk for Town of Lac du Flambeau Announces Her Retirement

The town clerk for the town of Lac du Flambeau for the last 19 years has announced she’ll retire. TheLakelandTimes reports Nancy Edwards submitted a letter to the town council at its last meeting. Town Chairman Matt Gaulke read Edward’s letter to the council, stating she would retire as of July 31st. She stated that she had various reasons for choosing to retire but that she would be happy to help train her replacement and would be willing to continue to provide assistance for a time as a consultant. Town Supervisor Bob Hanson motioned to accept Edward’s resignation and council members voted to accept .
