Michigan Woman Advances on The Voice, Becomes Blake Shelton’s Last Chair Turn

19 year old Michigander Grace West was “The Voice” judge Blake Shelton’s last chair turn of his tenure on the show and after she sang “Maybe It Was Memphis” by Pam Tillis she’s considered one of the favorites. West is from a suburb of Detroit. Judge Kelly Clarkson called West “a star”, Chance the Rapper complimented the quality of her voice and Shelton said she had an “old school quality” about her voice. West has moved on to the fourth round of “The Voice”, which will be the live performances when the show airs on Monday night.
