Airport Board Holds Monthly Meeting, Discusses Property Purchase
At their most recent meeting, the Gogebic-Iron County Airport Board continued the discussion regarding the purchase of property along Lake Road that’s adjacent to the airport. The DailyGlobe reports there was discussion regarding plans for the property and it was decided to continue at the board’s next meeting, since at that point purchase of the property should be complete. It was proposed that a tour of property should be scheduled after the March meeting. The board was also made aware that additional postings for the position of airport manager had been made.
