Two registered sex offenders have moved to Ashland. According to the DailyPress, James R. Henri, 72, was convicted of child enticement in 2001 of second-degree sexual assault of a child in 2009. His current address is 713-½ Main Street West. 39-year-old Robin R. Zakovec was convicted of second-degree assault of a child in May 2003, and possession of child pornography in August 2019. He was recently released and lives at 510 7th St. West. Both are under the supervision of a parole officer and must follow strict rules of conduct set forth by the Department of Corrections, including no unsupervised contact with minors, GPS monitoring, and registration with the Wisconsin Sex Offender Registration Program.
