Splash Pad Project in Bayview Park Needs Help

The Rotary Club of Ashland is looking for help from the community in order to bring a splash pad to the area. TheDailyPress reports the plan is for the pad to be located at Bayview Park. The Rotary Club is also preparing a fundraising campaign to make sure the project costs are covered. The majority of the funding for the project will by provided by a donation from the Vivian family, who owned the Ashland Music Store. Total cost for the splashpad has risen to almost $308,000 due to inflation, which is why the Rotary Club is asking for help, whether by monetary donation or donation in kind of cement, plumbing or electrical work.
