House Fire in St Germain Guts Home, Leaves 1 Person Injured

A house fire on Lullabye Lane in St. Germain Monday resulted in one person being injured. A plumber was working on the house when the fire started. TheLakelandTimes reports the extent of injuries to the workman have yet to be determined. A captain with the St. Germain fire service says the cause of the blaze is still unknown. Firefighters and equipment from St. Germain, Plum Lake and Arbor Vitae were initially dispatched to the scene and the mutual aid box alarm system was activated to bring more firefighters and equipment from the towns of Boulder Junction, Woodruff and Lake Tomahawk . Although the structure is still standing, the damage to the interior is extensive.
