The city of Ironwood has hired a new City Manager and City Engineer. The Globe reports members of the City Commission voted unanimously to confirm a contract hiring Paul Anderson, P.E. of Ironwood, to replace Scott Erickson who also acted as both manager and engineer to the city for 17 years. Andrew DiGiorgio, director of the Ironwood Public Safety Department, has been working as the acting city manager ever since Erickson left that role. Anderson will start in his new position on October 31st.
