At the Ironwood City Commission meeting last week, interim City Manager Andrew DiGiorgio let the commission know that City Clerk Wendy Hagstrom would be leaving her job with the city. According to the Globe, her last day will be the 8th of this month. Hagstrom became clerk in late 2021. She will be taking a position elsewhere in the city. In other business, the commission approved payment of just under $224,500 for the Francis Street sewer and water project, payment of almost $34,000 to Nasi Construction for siding work on the city garage and approved payment of just under $14,000 to Flowtrack Mountain Bike Trails for work done constructing trails at the Miner’s Memorial Heritage Park.
