The City Compost Site on Ayer Street is open as of today. Fees other than the Annual Commercial Tree Company Fee will be waived until June 1, 2022. On June 2, all costs will be enforced with the purchase of a ticket at the City Offices at 213 S. Marquette St. Hours are Thursday and Friday 10 am through 4 pm. and Saturday 9 am through 2 pm. Leaves and vegetation from the garden will be accepted for free; brush, trees and branches will be charged according to the load size.
