In Local Elections in Wisconsin, Many Seats Ran Unopposed

Yesterday was Election Day in Wisconsin and residents of Iron County went to the polls to choose Iron County Board supervisors, as well as city councils in Hurley and Montreal, the town Board in Mercer and the school boards in Hurley and Mercer. As reported in the Daily Globe, many seats, including the position of Mayor in Hurley were unopposed. There were six people running for the six seats on the Hurley City Council, and five running for three spots on the Mercer School Board. The polls were open til 8pm last night.
