The Gogebic-Ontonagon Counties Great Start Collaborative and the MSU Extension Upper Peninsula will be accepting donations for the Gogebic County Eat Smart Knapsack Program to feed local school kids who may rely on school lunch for their meals during breaks from school. The collection of snack items like granola bars, fruit cups, microwave popcorn, instand oatmeal will be accepted through the 13th. A full list of items is available on the Ironwood Chamber of Commerce Facebook page, and donations will be accepted on a drive through basis at the Copper Cup.
