At its regular meeting on Monday, the Wakefield-Marenisco school board reviewed and approved a bid for replacement of windows at the school. A bid for just over $1,100,000 was received to replace all windows, in order to reduce costs, the board decided not to replace windows in the gym which dropped the cost to just over $850,000. All work will be done by Nasi Construction, which submitted the only bid. Superintendent Gustafson will work with the construction company to allow for all the windows in the academic portion of the school to be replaced.
