The Gogebic Range Trail Authority-ORV & Snowmobile has posted that grooming operations have been paused until this Thursday due to the current warm up. Trails are currently rated poor to very good. Trail 8 east of our grooming Authority is impassable for inexperienced riders. Trail 11s south of trail 2 is also impassable for inexperienced riders due to wet areas. Trail 160 is not open for riding at this time and has seen only one groomer pass a week ago, it needs more snow. Trail 2 from Ironwood to Marenisco is rated fair to very good. The new section of trail 11, formerly trail 2, running from Korpela Rd to old m-28/trail 8 remains a great ride. An updated report will be released Thursday.
