The Midwest Snocross Series to be held at Gogebic Community College’s Mt. Zion has had to be re-located due to equipment issues. The event will now be held at Digger Doug Gust’s facility in Salem, Wisconsin. In an email sent to the Daily Globe, Race advisor Rudy Grbavchich said the venue change was necessary due to an issue with Mt. Zion’s snow machine and the unsure nature of being able to secure repair parts in time for the race. The race, planned for last weekend will now take place this weekend and all entries in the race at Mt. Zion will be transferred to Digger Doug Gust’s facility.
