Several area agencies are banding together to make sure every child in the county finds a gift under the tree this Christmas. Iron County Human Services, along with the Iron County Fire Association and Northern Iron County Engaged Residents, known as NICER, are working on different avenues to gather gifts for the kids. The Fire Department is holding their annual toy drive, collecting unwrapped gifts on the 11th at fire halls across the county, and Human Services and NICER have partnered for their second annual Giving Tree, located outside Hurley’s City Hall. Those who wish to help can take a card from the tree and shop for the wishlist on it.
