Work has begun on the holiday decorations for downtown Ironwood, and lots of work on decor will follow in the weeks to come, according to reports from the Downtown Ironwood Development Authority. Tom Bergman, director of community development said the donations for holiday wreaths, lights and street pole decorations have been coming in. Walmart Inc. provided a $150 donation for the lighting. The Ironwood Tourism Council helped by approving a $600 contribution. The wreaths are purchased and next on the list is selecting the lighting for decorative light poles downtown
