Portions of the Bond Falls Scenic Site in Ontonagon county will be closed Monday afternoon through late Tuesday afternoon to accommodate about 30 volunteers who along with park staff will be making repairs to the decking on the boardwalk and bridges that provide access to view the falls. Volunteers will also assist with trail maintenance and painting. Dan Dowdy, Baraga State park supervisor who also administers the Bond Falls site said the MC4T volunteers will help ensure that the park can continue to provide high quality, accessible recreation at one of the largest and most picturesque waterfalls in the western U.P.
