Glitch After Power Outage Shows Up On Your Water Bill

Ironwood residents may notice that your water bill has “past due” marked on it this month. The mis-billing is due to a computer glitch after a power failure on August 3oth. Power was down for about an hour, and the bills were in the process of being printed. When power was restored and bills starting printing again, the system put all the bills that had not yet been printed as past due. It didn’t add the past due to a balance, just printed as past due.
