The pandemic as well as ongoing construction in Bessemer has prompted the annual Pumpkinfest committee to decide to once again cancel the event. With the ongoing construction, a few rainy days prior to the event could make parking difficult and might hinder folks from entering in the car show, the committee was also concerned about propr social distancing with the Delta variant of the Coronavirus becoming so prevalent.
