Marenisco Township appears to have been the hardest hit by the storm that moved through the area Monday evening. There is no confirmation yet on whether or not there was a tornado in Marenisco, and data is being compiled to determine what type of storm blew down power lines and caused damage all across Gogebic and Ontonagon counties. The Gogebic Iron County Airport reported 47 mph wind gusts at around 9:30 p.m. Ironwood saw downed trees and power lines, but no injuries or damage to structures in the city.
