Iron County Board of Supervisors Weigh In on 2nd Amendment Sanctuary

The Iron County Board of Supervisors at their meeting earlier in the week voted 5-7 against declaring the county a Second Amendment sanctuary. Board Chairman Joseph Pinardi said the resolution should have been a discussion item on the agenda but was instead made and action item. Pinardi also said he didn’t see the need for the resolution. He, along with board member Kathleen Byrns, said that based on comments from residents, the board would definitely vote no on the resolution.
