MUCH NEEDED PARK IMPROVEMENT UNDERWAY
Preparation of the site where a maintenance facility will be built at Miner’s Memorial Heritage Park has begun. The Friends of Miner’s Memorial Heritage Park have spearheaded the project along with private and business donations of cash, equipment, materials and labor necessary to provide a heating building for storing trail maintenance equipment. A garage salvaged from the Davey’s Motel in Ironwood has been donated by the owners of the motel. The project has a GoFundMe page, under Help Ironwood Miners Park with New Groomer Garage.
