DETAIL WORK UNDERWAY AS NEW CIVIC CENTER NEARS COMPLETION
With the big work done, it’s now time for all the detail work on the new Pat O’Donnell Civic Center. Scheduling and shipping delays are proving to be challenging. Jim Collins, board chair says there are lots of things on back order but everyone is working towards finishing the job. Furnishings are on order, and work on repainting lines on the rink along with logos will have to wait until construction in the rink is finished. Collins says bids are out on special sealing for the rink floor, to keep it in good shape in case the board approves a plan to host summer roller skating in the arena.
