Yesterday, we let you know about MICHIGAN RECONNECT, a program announced by Governor Whitmer that will allow residents to attend community college in the state for free. Gogebic Community College has announced that it will participate in the statewide program starting this summer.Locally, the program will pay the tuition for eligible adults who live in Gogebic County and want to pursue an associate degree. Students living outside Gogebic County will have different aid options available
The program will be available through 2030. The application and additional program information are available at Michigan.gov/Reconnect for enrollment in classes beginning May 2021.
