Senator Gary Peters was sworn in for his second term in the United States Senate yesterday. Peters says he aims to work in the best interest of each Michigan voter. As he begins his second term, Peters vows to increase the efficiency of COVID-19 vaccine distribution. He also wants to provide help to families struggling due to the pandemic. Although he knows he did receive unanimous support from Michigan voters, Peters says he has a responsibility to represent everyone in the state, and hopes to continue the success he achieved as a freshman senator in bringing legislation to both sides of the aisle.
