An Arbor Vitae man was killed in a one car crash near Newbold in Oneida County over the holiday weekend. The Oneida County Sheriff’s Department issued a press release that said deputies responded to a call around 3:15 Friday afternoon. Deputies arrived to find that David Woods, 71, had driven off the road on County Highway J and hit a tree. Attempts to render medical aid to Woods were unsuccessful and he was declared dead at the scene. Investigation into the cause of the crash continues.
