The Wisconsin DNR is hosing four open houses, three in person and one virtual this month to share information about proposed changes to the state’s deer management units. Deer management units are reviews every few years by the DNR. This year’s review is on units in the Northern Forest Zone, Metro subunits and the boundary between the Central Forest and Farmland Zones. DNR staff will host a presentation about the review process and then be available for questions. The open houses will be in Woodruff on Thursday, the 14th from 5-7 pm, Virtually on the 19th via Zoom, Tuesday the 19th in Cable and on the 20th in Adams. Find out more at dnr.wisconsin.gov/calendar.
