Ashland Man Arrested for OWI…Again

An Ashland man was unable to attend a court hearing after being injured in an accident that occurred while he was driving while intoxicated…again. TheDailyPress reports Terry Weaver, 59, was still in the hospital when he was scheduled to appear at a sentencing hearing on the 25th. Weaver is charged with driving with a revoked license and misdemeanor bail jumping. He faces a maximum of just under 14 years if convicted of those charges. Weaver struck a power pole on the 22nd and has been charged with failure to keep his vehicle under control, operating without insurance and registration. Weaver failed two sobriety tests and then refused a breathalizer. His eighth OWI charge comes from getting pulled over while his license was revoked.
