Work on the Curry Park Campground in Ironwood continues to move forward. According to TheDailyGlobe, city manager Paul Anderson gave a report on the progress at the campground upgrades to the City Commission. Electrical work has been completed, and work of remodeling the showers in the bathhouse is due to start. Ironwood Department of Public Works crews will start to work on improving some of the parks gravel pads in the next few weeks. Anderson said the investment is going to benefit Ironwood for many decades to come. The improvements to the park should bring an increase in the yearly revenue from the campground.
