Vilas County has introduced an updated fee schedule for county parks this Spring and Summer, and veterans will benefit from discounts and free annual parking permits at parks and landings. TheNewsReview reports last year, the county implemented user access fees for all vehicles accessing county parks and landings. The fees generated from permits support improvements and maintenance of those facilities. Disabled Veteran Permits are offered on an annual basis, and any individual who qualifies for the fee exemption is encouraged to register for the annual permit to receive the fee waiver.
