Ontonagon Man Tangles With Deer, Deer Wins

A Bruce Crossing man escaped injury early Monday morning in Ontonagon County when he hit a deer straight on. Alvin Loukka of Bruce Crossing was traveling west on East One Mile road around 6:30 a.m., when a deer jumped out in front of his vehicle. He was unable to avoid hitting the deer, which caused a good deal of damage to this vehicle. He didn’t suffer any injuries, however his vehicle needed to be towed from the scene.
