Murderer of Two Brothers from Mexico Charged

The Ashland man accused of shooting two men in October has been ordered to stand trial. TheAshlandDailyPress reports Nathan “Freddie” Monkelien is charged with two counts of first degree homocide in the shooting deaths of brothers Manuel and Luis Garcia Salas of Veracruz, Mexico, outside a bar. He’s also charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. Monkelien is facing life in prison for each murder charge.
