A crash earlier in the month has claimed the life of a man from Ashland. TheAshlandDailyPress reports H. Kevin Greene drove off Highway 13 near Butterworth Road and rolled, coming to rest on the roof of his vehicle on the 12th. Greene was thrown from the vehicle, and was helicoptered to Essentia Health St Marys in Duluth. Greene succembed later from his injuries. Ashland County Sheriff Brian Zupke said it was not known if alcohol or drugs were involved. The crash remains under investigation.
