Todd Richter will soon be able to step down as airport manager as the Gogebic-Iron County Airport Board has hired someone to take his place. TheDailyGlobe reports Wakefield resident, pilot and aviation enthusiast Jeremy Busch has been hired and has already begin training, which will take about a year to get all the certifications necessary and to learn the day to day of running the facility. Airport board member and county board chair Jim Lorenson said the board was looking for someone who had initiative, drive and an ability to work well with a variety of people and Busch fit the bill.
