The ATV/UTV trails in Vilas County will be closing on the 31st, including state funded trails and routes. Some towns in Vilas County keep their roads open year round. The county Parks and Recreation Supervisor thanked the Landover, St. Germain and Lakeland ATV Clubs for the many hours of volunteer time devoted to the trails. The season closes each year to allow ATV clubs to bring trails back to pre-season conditions before snowmobile clubs start using shared trails.
