The St. Germain Elementary School was put on lock-down after a disturbance on Friday morning. TheLakeLandTimes reports the Vilas County Sheriff’s Office put out a statement, saying the dispatch center got a call from the school resource officer at Northland Pines High about an incident concerning child custodial interference in the main office of the elementary school. The school resource officer initiated a lock down, Vilas County Sheriff’s deputies and warden with the Department of Natural Resources responded. An investigation was done and it was found that there was no threat to the school, students or staff. Ronald D. Olson was subsequently arrested for disorderly conduct.
