Gogebic Community College’s Allied Health program recently unveiled its expanded, grant-funded medical facilities on Feb. 24. TheDailyGlobe reports Director Nicole Rowe said the new spaces—including a surgical theater, simulated ER, exam rooms, maternity simulators, and a high-tech classroom—offer students essential hands-on experience. The program offers degrees in nursing, EMS, medical assistant, MRI tech, radiography, and muscular therapy. The college uses realistic simulation dummies and plans further upgrades. Rowe believes the facility and strong medical partnerships provide exceptional opportunities.
