The Michigan Secretary of State is holding free “Road to Restoration” clinics to help eligible drivers regain their licenses. Experts and volunteer attorneys will offer consultations, license status checks, and guidance. On-site Secretary of State services like vision testing and written exams will also be available. Clinics are scheduled in Ontonagon on Wednesday, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. (Walk-ins: 12 p.m. – 2 p.m.) at Ontonagon Village Housing Commission and in Marquette on Friday, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. (Walk-ins: 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.) at Marquette Charter Township Community Center. You can register at Michigan.gov/R2R. Bring $16 or a printed driving record. For on-site restoration, bring ID, birth certificate, and proof of residency. Clinics do not provide DUI/OWI expungement, and reinstatement is not guaranteed. Participating courts can process payments.
