Reward Offered for Info in Woman’s Disappearance

The search continues for Lac du Flambeau resident, 37-year-old Melissa Besson. She was reported missing on March 23 after last being seen on March 17th, walking on Indain Village Road, near Wayman Lane in Lac du Flambeau. The Lac du Flambeau Tribe is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to the return of Melissa Beson and/or the arrest and prosecution of anyone involved in her disappearance. Both the tribe and the Lac du Flambeau Tribal Police Department continue to ask for the public’s help in locating her. Beson is a Native American female, 5’7”, with a medium build, brown hair and brown eyes. She has numerous tattoos, including on her neck, arms and legs. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Lac du Flambeau Tribal P.D. or the Vilas County Sheriff’s Office.
