Meeting Aims at Gathering A Very Unique Group of Outdoor Enthusiasts

A meeting of the Upper Peninsula Trappers Association is being held on the 29th in Ontonagon County for those interested in learning about trapping in Gogebic, Iron and Ontonagon Counties. The association invites experienced and novice trappers to attend the District 2 meeting being held at Twilly’s Sports Bar and Grill, 9am CT on U.S. Highway 45 in Bruce Crossing. Since 1962, the non-profit association has strived to educate trappers on safe, sustainable methods of harvesting any of the 17 native furbearing species present in the state and to protect their environment.
