Minocqua Man Makes Shoveling Snow A Breeze

A Minocqua man may have found the solution to the back breaking task of shoveling snow. Ryan Wanca didn’t want to go out one more time to clear his driveway following a snowstorm, so he decided to engineer something that would remove snow for him. Besides having an engineering background, Ryan also loves racing radio-controlled cars. He took a lot of the technology from controlling those cars, attached it to his snowblower and then tested it. Sitting in his car with the controls, sure enough, his custom engineered 3-D printed remote control snowblower did the job. Not sure if it will ever go into production, as Ryan says his next project will be a jet powered surf board for his kids…
