A former Ashland resident has been chosen by President-Elect Trump as a member of his new cabinet. Former Congressman Sean Duffy has been nominated to serve as the Secretary of Transportation. Duffy was born in Hayward and got his marketing degree at St. Mary’s University and a J.D. degree from William Mitchell College of Law. He and his wife lived in Ashland while he served as District Attorney from 2002 to 2010. He then served in the U.S. House of Reprentatives for Wisconsin’s 7th Congressional District, moving his family to Weston, a suburb of Wausau. Duffy now co-hosts a business show on the Fox News Network and his wife, Rachel Campos-Duffy c0-hosts the weekend news on Fox.
