Theft Gets Ironwood Man Lengthy Sentence

An Ironwood man has been sentenced for possession of a stolen firearm in the Western District Court of Michigan. Robert Lee Reynolds, of Spartanburg, S.C., and Ironwood was sentenced to 10 years in federal prison for possession of a firearm that he stole from someone in Ironwood. In May of last year, law enforcement learned that Reynolds stole the pistol and threatened to kill the owner. He later posted a video on social media brandishing the weapon and threatening people. Investigators stopped him when he was driving in Menominee, discovered the weapon, and a chase ensued. He turned himself in after engaging in a standoff with law enforcement.
