Ashland Man Will Have to Wait to Stand Trial for Sex Crimes

The sexcrimes trial of an Ashland man has been rescheduled. Callahan Emmer, 20, faces 12 charges connected to 2023, including possession of child pornography, sexual assault of a child, child enticement, using a computer to facilitate a sex crime, intimidating a victim as a party to a crime and delivering THC to a minor. The victim’s father initiated an investigation after he checked her phone and found nude photos of his daughter that were send to Emmer via Snapchat. Emmer faces a total of more than 300 years in prison if convicted on all charges. His trial has been rescheduled to May of 2025.
