The Hunters Education Program Needs You…

Volunteers are being sought by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources to act as hunter education instructors. Instructors are needed all over the state to promote safe, respnsible and ethical hunting practices. Since the program started in 1967, more than 1 million hunters across the state have been trained and certified by more than 20,000 volunteers instructors. You can become an instructor one of two ways…serve as an apprentice under a sponsoring instructor for at least two course or attend a certification training session hosted by an DNR Outdoor Skills Trainer.
