New Recreational Opportunity for One Town in Vilas County Moves Forward

St. Germain at its last meeting voted to allow the use of land owned by the town to be developed into a disc golf course. According to TheLakelandTimes, there are conditions to the development, including keeping the total cost of the project under $25,000 dollars if possible, the development cannot interfere with the golf course, or BoBoen snowmobile trails during their use. The town board will also have to approve the final plans for the course. The next steps will be to securing funding, then having plans created and proper permitting secured.
