Theres been a delay in the construction of a new housing development in Hurley. The City Council learned early last week that the project is now expected to start in the Fall. The development’s plans will have to be adjusted slightly in order to make sure that the site doesn’t impinge on the wetlands nearby. Impact Seven was instrumental in getting the development going by securing the funding. Coleman Engineering of Ironwood will be in charge of creating a new site plan for the project, which will include Hurley’s famous “road to nowhere”. Groundbreaking is now slated for October.
